However, I have found in recent years that newborn photography is becoming more than just a way to help us remember but also as a beautiful art form. Hi! I’m Shelley, the photographer at Oak and Acorn: Botanical Newborn Photography. I have an associate’s degree in fine art with a focus in photography and a bachelor’s in art history. I also have over 15 years experience photographing a variety of subjects. The last 6 years I have specialized in newborn portraits. I’m always learning with continued education as this industry is constantly evolving. I do, however, also believe in the magic of the forest and let my intuition guide my art.
